Welcome! Welcome to the Bethany Presbyterian Church website. We are very excited that you have joined us. We strive to worship, serve, and enjoy Jesus Christ together as a family of faith. Meet Pastor Blackie Rev. Blackie was born in 1957 in Los Angeles, CA. By 1960 his family had moved to Plum Borough, PA (about 22 miles North East of Pittsburgh) where he lived until he went to college. If you need to contact Pastor Blackie he can be reached by phone at 570-253-6316 or by e-mail at pastor@pioneerparish.org. LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING AT BETHANY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: It is that time again for one of our Yard/Bake sale. On May 26 it will be held at the Wilder House and its garage, the barn and on the lawn between the barn and the Wilder House. People are always needed to help. If you are interested in helping, please notify either June Doney or Terry Lawrence as they will need help in all aspects of the sale. If you have any items that you would like to donate to the Yard Sale, they can be left in the Hutchinson rental garage (the small room to the right as you walk in). It is helpful if you price your items. Baskets, stuff animals, clothing, and shoes do not sell very easily. Baked items are always needed. Many people come to the yard sale because they know we always have great baked goods. Baked goods can be dropped off first thing in the morning Congregational Survey was held on April 22nd at the end of the worship service. The survey is to help the Pastor Nominating Committee find a permanent minister for the church. It is to provide information for a potential full time minister in what the congregation is looking for. If you were unable to come on April 22nd you call still participate in the survey. Just Click on Survey. Fill out the Survey and mail it to the church. See what other events are going on>>>> |
